Note the wear by bicylces cutting the corner,and indeed it is ridden over. Seen here from the north looking south.
I recently changelleged the forestry staff over its condition, as it behoves them to protect this site for future generations. He responded, 'what can be done?'
'Try chaining four logs together at each corner'. This is after all a forest'. I suggested.
He responded that there aren't the resourses for this!
