(2011-02-24) | I went to the Kildare Street part on my first visit, to see the stunning Celtic gold artefacts they have on display. Try not to miss this if you are in Dublin!
To my great regret, when I last visited (taking a train from Carlow to Dublin on the Monday after 9/11) hoping to see them again, I found that the museum is closed (or was closed) on that day! Went to the US Embassy instead to see the moving floral tributes and sign the book of condolence. |
