Danke Martin! I know, sometimes it is a very cold and windy place.
Two years before at a stormy November evening my camera with tripod feld down on the frozen ground. The camera is still working. It's a N.....!;-)

Ah, yes you told me once, but I did not recall it was at this site. Yes DSLR's tend to be more solid than most of the Point and Shoots. As you know I have the same N... model and it still works perfectly after 3,5 years and 20000 outdoor shots. And it survived a tripod-crash at Klein-Berssen ;)

You're right Martin! It was happenend approx. 500m to the north at Goosefeld Steingrab 2. But the wind condition on this two places are the same(Brrrrr).

Ah, ok. Hopefully you were able to recover the tripod bag in the meantime?
I recently had great difficulties to take photos at both sites as my fingers were numb after a short time and it was diffcult to press the operating buttons and adjust the camera settings for each picture. Really enormous wind-chill...
