We stayed in a B&B just below the Stones, and I got up at 6am and walked up the hill to take some photos. It was incredible, watching and hearing the land, birds, and sheep come awake with those Stones presiding over it all. I had them all to myself for about 1 ½ hrs. What a lucky gal!

(2011-01-24) | Hi StoneSong.. Lucky you. I also stayed at the Morrisons' bungalow, in 2001, and went up there on my own at midnight. Truly wonderful.
(I wonder if they still run it? Ideal place to stay!) |
