| Posted Comments: Martin L (2011-01-24) | Great photo Sem. | cooper (2011-01-31) | I can see 2 alignments in the picture, and this works on many stones i have visited there are 2 stones set for the horizon, the outcrop to the right follows the shape of the stdg stone, the stright edged stone in the foreground matches a pillar or buttress on the grags to the left of the main central area. Your theorey does work and in some areas it is quite clear, although as you say it takes time to get your eye in, after a while you learn to strip out all the intervening interference in the landscape and see things a lot clearer. Its easy once you do to identify why things have been moved and rarely where from. Great work, its impressive. |
