Description In my eyes this line of stones at the footing of one of the barrows looks like a surviving chain of kerbstones.

Apparantly these stones aren't kerbstones after all: “1983 New inspection of protected sites by Forest and Nature Agency, 10 office, Regular mound, 3.0 x 28.0 x 25.0 m. A water tower on top is removed, the round concrete foundation can still be discerned. Some stone stairs in the east side of the barrow near the top, and a stone setting at the footing of the barrow probably are remnants of some newer garden structure.“
