Dating from the Neolithic period, this strange-shaped standing stone (twisted at the top) is 2.4 metres high and 1.5 metres in circumference.
It was probably a marker stone to the prehistoric tomb known as 'The Whispering Knights', and just over the road 'The King's Men' a circle of 70 or more standing stones, some quite little and some nearly 7 feet tall. |
