Description Grid References as above - one of the prettiest places in Pembroke to visit too. There's a camping pitch up with electricity in the field above on the farm too. Simply beautiful.

Morgan = sea bright or bright sea Gwyn = white, blessed or fair. Am I correct jess. A great Welsh name and Wales is a lovely country. I have relations there myself.

I thought so - you are very well read Sunny it is a pleasure reading your posts. Yes morgan - dweller by the sea (Ar glan y mor)- sea bright. Gwyn (my grandfathers name) is pure/white. The druids used the word gwyn for "pure" or "blessedness" as part of the druidic trinity. Thank you for knowing the name. I've been looking at your photos from Carmarthen way and will be going to find some of these stones very soon!

It's a pleasure too jess. I think your son enjoys being in the photos. I notice he turns up on your other pics too. Looking forward to seeing some more of your photos. Cheers.

Yes, I'm for the seaside interpretation. I like to think that Pelagius was a Morgan who Latinised his Welsh/Celtic name (πέλαγος = the sea, in Greek).

Oh don't get me started David. Was'nt Pelagius the chap who was of the 'Pelagianism Heresy' stuff back in the 5th century. I think he was in Wales at the time of St Germanus was he not. Probably a native of Rome though, not a Welshman, nor was St Germanus for that matter. Pelagius was condemned by African bishops in 418 and later at Ephesus in 431. He never got to be a saint.
