In contrast to most other sites in this area, access is very easy. It is situated east of Bidon and appr. 100m south of the junction D201/D690. The site is marked on the 1:25000 IGN-Map (2939 OT Gorges De L'Ardèche) but was not signposted (April 2001). Not far from the tomb there are many herbs (esp. thyme) growing. Their smell adds to site`s overwhelming atmosphere.
There are many other dolmens in the proximity. Amongst these the Dolmen de Champ Vermeil (appr. 1,5km NW) is the most famous.
