Description Grid Ref: NY257375 Green How, Cumbria The photo shows two of the enclosures on Aughertree Fell. There are also two bronze age burial mounds and two ancient springs nearby, one called Pike-eel Well, and the other called Elfa Well, where fairies are to be found....

The mountain poking up in the background of this picture is Skiddaw, third highest mountain in England. How could I forget to mention that! The view to Skiddaw from Aughtertree fells can not be beaten.
