(2004-05-11) | Image Wood at NO524990 in Aberdeen shire is within walking distance of the centre of Aboyne. Follow the lane up past the cemetry and when you've crossed the stream follow the path off to the left.
Burl in his Guide to Stone Circles seems to have some doubt as to its authenticity and with it being ellipitical in shape with the tallest stones on the North side one can see why. |
