Description ND 469844 Only discovered in 1958 the cairn is about 135' long x 50' wide and stands to a greatest height of 10'. The tripartite stalled chamber contains 3 side cells. The tomb is especially remarkable for the extensive human remains (at least 338 people) and the wide range of non-human remains including those of eight white-tailed eagles suggesting that this bird was the totem of the Isbister people. Tthe tomb is colloquially known, inevitable, as "The Tomb of the Eagles". The shot is inside the chamber.
