As well as these strange carvings, which remind me of Newgrange type petroglyths, there are also Ogham inscriptions down the edge, and on the reverse is a Latin inscription. |
| Posted Comments: Sunny100 (2010-10-08) | A very nice photo of The Llywel Stone cerrig. Wish i could get to visit these places, but unfortunately i can't due to current problems. I know of this place called Llywel though. Thanks. | cerrig (2010-10-08) | You're welcome Sunny, and I'm sorry to hear you can't get about . I'm glad these photo's are of interest to you. I intend to go back to get some more as unknown to me my lens wasn't focussing properly. There are all sorts of ancient artifacts in this section. Should make a good site page ( if my equipment works ) | Sunny100 (2010-10-08) | Thanks for your kind comments cerrig. I can get about the local area, but am reliant on a good friend to take me by car. We went to Ribchester the other day, but it's a shame we cannot put much Roman stuff on the Meg Portal now. Cheers. | Andy B (2010-10-08) | Be patient! We're getting there... | Sunny100 (2010-10-08) | I presume you mean me Andy. Yes, i know you are doing your best. Cheers and thank you. |
