| Posted Comments: Andy B (2010-10-02) | Rubis, do you have a location for this dolmen as ours is a rough guess | TheCaptain (2010-10-02) | I have now sorted this Andy - using the geoportail link on the sitepage. | Rubis (2010-10-03) | Well, don't have a GPS (is it the same word in English?). It is just at the end of the village, towards Saint Pardoult, to the North, on the left of the road D127. | TheCaptain (2010-10-03) | Rubis, firstly many thanks for all your pictures and descriptions.
To find a good position for a site, I use geoportail (ign maps) to locate the site (if it is marked), and then flash earth to get latitude and longitude coordinates, by zooming in and placing the cross at the site position. The coordinates can be read from the left side of the page. Both of these can be found using the blue aeroplane icons on the sitepage, top right. These open centred on the position recorded. Its very easy when you have done it a couple of times.
| Rubis (2010-10-11) | Didn't see your comments, Captain! Sorry. Well i have seen geoportail but had some problems to manage it. Waow, really love the translation!. | TheCaptain (2010-10-11) | I used BabelFish. Its not perfect, but better than I could do for myself. But you have to tke out the bits it can't translate, like "flash earth"! |
