It is Beardown Man @ SX 59607963. It is about 3.5 m high and is in an area
that appears to be devoid of other prehistoric remains - but I am sure there
are a lot there just waiting to be found. I show two views. This one looking SW is to Great Mis Tor which is the position of sunset at the winter solstice. |
