The Edderton Class I Pictish symbol stone, pointed at the top, stands in a field close to the village. It is a red-sandstone pillar stone standing at 10 foot high and dating from the 5th-7th century CE. Also called The Sharp Stone or Clach Chairidh, it has a fish, double disc and Z rod carved onto it.
