It dates from the Neolithic period 5,000 years ago. A grassy mound with a 17 foot long passage-way inside that leads to a chamber 21 foot across. Inside there are some decorated stones with zigzag and circular carvings, one stone 3 foot high, has a face on it. 65 burials were excavated in the chamber as well as pottery, vessels and personal effects. |
