a N-S oriented Chambered Tomb. The people take
good care for the place, it is clean and the grass is short.
There are four orthostats on the long west side, the south
stone obviously moved a bit out of position. On the opposite
side are three remaining stones, the north one is missing.
The single stones on the short sides are in position.
Two capstones that have been on the chamber in 1932 are
now outside of the tomb. (Plus a number of stones that
have been placed near .. )
In the east long side is a gap opening for a passage.
The first pair of orthostats is in situ, complete with a small capstone.
There is another small orthostat on the south side.
A nice example of the integration of a megalith in an occupied area.
(They should just get rid of that tree inside the chamber) |
