|Description ||Another pinhole photo by Luca Paradisi of West Cork Prints. Not sure where this stone is exactly, will find out.|
I only just noticed this photo, it shows the Ogham stone at Faunkill and the woods near Eyeries. This is the tallest ogham stone in Eire and is almost certainly a reused prehistoric stone as the inscription's quality deteriorates greatly as it goes up suggesting it was added in situ.
For scale the OPW marker stone at left is around .75m high

Do we have a Site Page for it to go on?
It's Ballycrovane.
"Antiquities of the Beara Peninsula" illustrated map of 1996 by Jack Roberts/Bandia refers to it as Faunkill and the caption reads, "The largest Ogham Stone in Ireland can be seen standing on a knoll inland from Coulagh Bay. This stone is the second largest Standing Stone, the largest being near Ballyvourney."
It's on private land, you park in a driveway, pay the owners a token sum and walk through their garden and climb a little mound to get to it. I never managed to get a shot of the whole stone, I tried to walk backwards far enough to get it all into the frame and almost fell down the slope!
This has just come up on Random Image, it's the same site posted in 2002
"Faunkil-and-the-Woods Ogham Stone, Co. Cork (V657 529) This truly elegant stone, the tallest ogham stone in Ireland, stands 4.7m in height in an area which commands panoramic views over Ballycrovane Harbour and Coolagh Bay to the west. The stone narrows towards the top and is aligned NW-SE. The ogham inscription on the NW edge is now badly weathered but was recorded in 1945 as MAQI-DECCEDDAS AVI TURANIAS. "
That must have been a wide angle pinhole camera.
