It has been suggested that they might be two ends of an extremely long double horned cairn. This is generally rejected, but house and road building in the space between obviates any firm conclusion. This, the eastern monument, beside a road, has one horn and vertical revetment almost complete and a trace of the other. Six orthostats of the forecourt remain, and it is estimated that the facade could have been well over 2m high. There were three chambers, but the remnants of two are visible. |
