View to the northwest from the enclosure which is built on a little promontary just to the north of the Kingston Russell stone circle. There is also a cairn or two here in this place with a truly wonderful view.
Up the valley to the right leads to the valley of the stones. To the left, westwards down the valley gets you to the sea and the Golden Cap. |

(2006-06-03) | The broad hill in the distance on the right (with the pylons behind it) is Long Barrow Hill, home of the Martins Down bank barrow and numerous other barrows. |
