(2010-08-16) | I'm not on commission, honest . But don't let that put you off buying lots of maps of " The Brecon Beacons, West and Central area, sheet OL12. 1/25000 scale". ( the new ones, with the handsome smiling chap on the cover) Fan Brycheiniog is very clearly shown on these , as is any other local sites anyone could possibly want, ever. | AngieLake

I've just turned out my file on the visit to Y Pigwn and the photo I have of Simon pointing to Fan Brycheiniog [while standing on what appears to be this mound!] is the same view as above, albeit with mist shrouding all the higher mountains! | cerrig
(2010-08-17) | It is indeed Angie. Just left of centre on the far skyline,the highest ridge seen here, is Fan Brycheiniog. |
