(Steintanz = stonedance)
This so-called steintanz was build from nine 1m - 2m boulders,
set up in a circle. Similar settings are near Boitin and Bellin,
in Poland and in South-Scandinavia.
The stones sit deep in the ground, above earth is about 0.5 to 1.5m.
There is a lot of reasoning about this stone circles, it has been found
that they are set upon urn graves from the iron age. |
