Description The southern panorama from the top of The Gop. Penycloddiau Hillfort is to the south east, and Moel Hiraddug to the south west. Some interpret cairns and burial locations as a way their creators would have defined their territory. In this case, this is some statement. As Jez remarked when we were here "what a way to say, 'this is mine'". The pitted top of The Gop is visible in the foreground; the undulations are largely due to stone-robbing from the cairn.
