all taken in 2000 as indeed were most of the pics already sent.
At Merrivale there are two smaller rows in addition to the two large ones that everyone notices. Burl gives the same grid ref for both which is wrong.
Row 3 azimuth 26 length 48m GR 5539 7475 Burl calls this D. Most of the stones are barely visible above the peat. At one end there is a cairn adjacent to the main SE row whilst at the far end there is a blocking stone across the row. |
