|Description ||An early mediaeval cross-incised stone on the north side of the Roman Road; the near completely faded incision is extremely difficult to make out. Only the diagram in the CADW guidebook made its location possible; it is situated between the Maen Y Bardd Dolmen and the Cae Coch Menhir.
This picture was taken in the early morning sunlight, streaming from the east across the surface of the stone. Having previously investigated the stone for the incision, I had found nothing. However these conditions made me think something was visible on this occasion, and in these conditions.
I have highlighted this picture in accordance with my possible interpretation of the cross.|
