The 'Going for Bronze' exhibition at the Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre in Princetown, in conjuction with RAMM (Exeter's temporarily closed for refurbishment museum), is well worth a visit if you're in the area!
As well as general Bronze Age history on Dartmoor, there are also display boards on the excavation of the round house at Bellever, and a film of a local potter making a replica Trevisker ware Beaker pot (and that pot itself is on show). Locally found artefacts are in glass cases, while the permanent exhibition in another room shows the history of Dartmoor. |
