|Description ||Higher Town Stone Row, St Martins on the Isles of Scilly.
Located at SV 9330 1530 on Higher Town Beach and partially covered at high tide. Only three stones exist. The Scillies are of course a landscape that was like Dartmoor but which since Bronze Age times has been flooded.|
|Just look at those hills...|
|There being a higher and lower town (the scillonians, bless um, they may be beautiful people, but they sure aint knowk for their imaginative place naming!) on, I think all of the islands, i'd guess from the photograph that this would be St' Martins? God I miss that place! That beach!|
|The three stones are not in a straight row. Could it be the arc of a circle?|
|Is this a row? Can it be compared to Yelland?|
