It stands about 7 foot tall and each face is ornately carved. On the W face Christ carries his cross, below which a panel with two figures embracing. The E face has two figures holding a large staff. There is also intricate interlacing on all sides. Also in the churchyard the stump of the Medieval Eccles Cross. |
