|Description ||From the top of the mound of Barclodiad Y Gawres, this large earthwork was noticed. It runs from near the mound entrance, curves to the right, before ending at the field, where we assumed it has been ploughed away.
There is some relationship, obviously, with the mound, but no guidebooks could help. More research needed.|
|Speaking with an archaeologist yesterday, this earthwork consists of cairn material robbed during the 19th Century when a farmer progressively used stones to construct a field boundary. Mercifully, a stop was put to it before more could be taken.|
