Then I noticed that the stones were not all in the lines I thought they were, perhaps it was once three rows.
The spacing of the stones was about 15 metres between them, where the spacing was obviously original. |

They are beautiful shapes. | TheCaptain (2010-07-08) | I think its probably due to the moorland sheep, which use them as scratching posts. These stones are a reasonable size, the smaller ones do get overgrown. |
