| Posted Comments: Thorgrim (2004-03-29) | Anyone know how many countries now celebrate the Summer Solstice? | RunaStera (2004-07-07) | I really donnot know ;-) I remember a TV program some years ago where they reported about summer solstice in any country in central america. hundreds of "indians" where standig at a caņon and waited for daybreak. And when the sun came all people applauded. An impressing scene. At the "Externsteine" many people celebrate Beltain, too. (and some very hard people winter solstice :-) In former times maybe ist was celtic. The boundary between teutons and celts was about in this area (North/South). Maybe blurred. In my area in northwest germany they found a fort, where celtic jewellery and its place of production was found. but this place is absolutely teutonic. if you want to know more, click to www.schnippenburg.de
