I spotted this 1-3 foot high stone just inside the gate of St Mary's churchyard. It stands on the left next to a seat. It seems to have some carvings on it, but it is difficult to make out. Could this stone have come from an almost forgotten stone circle half a mile S - just below Faughs House and W of Spen Brook village. |
