has been a great view over the Little Belt, standing erect here and probably
untouched in its place: a large stone littered with cup marks (skåltegn).
It is somewhat oblong in shape, 1.30 m on the longest, until 0.85 m wide and
protrudes now up to 0.95 m above the soil surface.
The sides are quite smooth and almost vertical.
The surface is covered with closely spaced, small, bowl shaped
indentures, 3-5 cm in diameter, mostly quite flat each, until 1 1 / 2 cm deep.
They stand close, one beside the other, without forming any pattern.
They follow a little down the stones southeast side,
where the last of them stands almost vertically.
A total of approx. 50 such bowls, spread over a surface of 0.85 m length of NS
and 0.30 to 0.50 m width.
1.5 m west of this stone is another large stone block approx. 1.25 m long,
0.70 m high and approx. 1 m wide, probably the western wall of the former chamber. |
