The capstones are robbed except for one fragment damaged by blasting attempts. Otherwise this certainly is one of the best preserved chambers among the several hundred megalithic sites known in Lower-Saxony. Clear size of the approx E-W oriented chamber is 6m by 1,5m. It is situated inside significant remains of the earthwork, a nearly round barrow (diameter 20m). The ambience is magnificent except for plenty of ticks and mosquitos in spring and summer.
