| Posted Comments: cerrig (2010-12-04) | Is this a timed photo JanF. | JanF (2010-12-07) | ~ I'm sorry cerrig.. Not sure what you mean by 'timed'.. By a handheld camera if that's what you mean... | cerrig (2010-12-07) | I was wondering if that was you in the photo, and whether you had used the time delay on the camera to take a picture of yourself. But if it's hand held then there must be someone else taking this picture .
I'm also curious to know what is being pointed at here?
( I'm being very nosy JanF, your photo has intrigued me) | JanF (2010-12-08) | ~ Ooops, so sorry cerrig.. Of course. All clear to me now. Image shows dear friend Neil who lives nearby, at Lazonby. I took the photo of him pointing out to me, the ancient circular swirl carvings on this stone. Wrapped in a clear plastic sleeve was a collection of crystals, with a photo of a person, and some text in what looks like Greek. I have a close up image of that too if you're interested.. | cerrig (2010-12-09) | I was wondering if the package was involved somehow. I don't know the story with it, could be some sort of a healing ritual, or maybe even an epitaph perhaps . Even so, I'd rather you didn't show it JanF . The leaving of objects at these monuments is an emotive issue , so probably best not to fan the flames. | JanF (2010-12-09) | ~ Of course.. I always assumed you should bury crystals nearby to re-enhance them. If you left a package on top of the ground, fully visible and beside the stones, you would may have wished to share your thoughts and prayers.. Just a thought.. But thanks for your take on this.. Your views are completely valid, and will be respected, Thank you! |
