|Description ||Eglwys Gwyddelod "The Irishman's Church" stone circle (OS 135; GR: SH 663 002) is a delightful small circle in beautiful surroundings. Five small stones and two stumps make up a circle 8m in diameter. At the centre of the circle is a quartz boulder which is believed to have been an original feature of the site. |
|This is a beautiful site, and well worth a visit. When the weather is good, the views are spectacular (as John's photo shows).|
| A beautiful spot, on a lovely walk in the hills.|
We had visited a few other lovely places after finding them on this website, and by chance were near this one so searched it out.
Its not sign posted and a little overgrown so we nearly missed it, but its in a great spot, above the track on a pass between 2 hills.
