Description The cup-marked granite erratic in April 2010. The cup-marks are partly deep, but the whole surface is slightly disintegrated.

It is tightly packed with cup-marks. Maybe the total number given of 29 is slightly to low. Could be up to 40 in my opinion. But only a proper investigation could clarify this. As the bedrock is granite in this case use of frottage technique would be possible, but unfortunately it seems to be rarely used in Germany (in contrast to Scandinavia or Italy for example).

Just Wow ! Martin. You are the undisputed master of cup-mark photography.

Thank you very much Holger. Also for finding out about this recently discovered site. So i had to go there :) And of course I am no master of cup-mark photography, although this really would be a nice and weird title. In this case the lighting conditions are really difficult and as the surface is undulating i probably was unable to show all cup-marks even though i used light from two different angles.
