In the foreground is a tumulus (SW 7254 2110) with a trig point on, recently (04/2010) the brambles on the mound have been cut down. beyond the tumulus and slightly to the left is Dry Tree Menhir, and beyond this - just to the right of the bend in the fence is another Tumulus. there is a further tumulus in this group just inside the fence close to the bend but it is very overgrown and does not photograph well.

| Posted Comments: AngieLake (2010-04-28) | Well, I don't remember seeing that huge tumulus when I visited, Hamish. However, the one I dowsed, where Dry Tree menhir might once have stood, is somewhere amongst the undergrowth to the far right here. (See pic on site page.) |
