(2010-04-22) | Parts of it date back to the 12th century. It was in private property and rather ruined at the beginn of the 1970s (compare photo on the mueums own website, link on main site-page). Private investors tried to replace it by an apartment-tower(!!!), but after some protests this plans luckily were cancelled and the county bought it. It then was carefully restored and this excellent prehistoric museum was established. |
