Description The Beeracres Stone provides me with much joy throughout the year.
Probably none more so than when the native family of little owls use it as a hunting post - watching all around for prey.

Terrific photo. Owls are so fascinating. The german name of Athene noctua is interesting: "Steinkauz" ("Stein" = "Stone")

And I see that "Kauz" means "Oddball". That bird is definitely a megarak!
