|Description ||This is the only tumulus of quite a few huge ones remaining in the village of Lutzhorn. Many were spread all over this community's area once, but were destroyed. Warensberg is the name of the remaining one, which is probably only still there, because it is situated a bit aside in a quite young, but dense forest. There is a footpath leading to it, but all overgrown and partwise also through a Christmas tree plantation. Nevertheless, there is a detailed sign showing also all destroyed barrows nearby. This tumulus is still huge, although a part of it once was used as a sand pit; it must have been a giant in ancient days! Nobody cares about this site nowadays, even though a street in Lutzhorn leading to the rural area around is called Warensberg, too.|
Site is now more or less the empire of wild boars! Caution!!
