Description A neolithic sunship (3.300 - 3.600 BC). The most southern part of Sweden by the sea. There is much to read about it <a href="http://www.alesstenar.com/"> here</a>

Fascinating, that pseudo infra red certainly works, which photo package are you using? More please.

I see that the html address didn't come out properly. Well it'll work anyway. About photo package you can use any package as long as it has a channel mixer. Try GIMP or Photoshop. Any one of these will do. GIMP is free of charge. /Jan

Strange, they usually do. Post it in a comment here. Yes, I like Gimp but then I'm a Linux user so I would!

Are there any sun ship rock carvings near you? See http://www.megalithic.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=My_eGallery&file=index&do=showpic&pid=5503

Peter, "Ales stenar" is in the very south and I live 500 km up north from there. In these parts there have been no carvings found. But near "Ales stenar" carvings have been found. See the English part of http://www.alesstenar.com/ . You will find most rock carvings along the west coast like the ones at Tanum.

Thanks Jan for the information at http://www.alesstenar.com/. The section on the rock art ships and sun symbols is fascinating. I'm not too sure about his other conclusions though , but then I'm always doubtful about archaeo-astronomy. Much as I love your infra-reds - it would be nice to see your photos in natural colour too - any chance?
