Description The view of Hayden Butte from the Loma del Rio home site. The Salt River is constrained at this point between coffer dams to create Tempe's Town Lake. As developed as this area now is, it is difficult to imagine the Hohokam view from Loma del Rio - likely a series of cultivated fields and irrigation ditches, leading down to a free flowing Salt River.
