Some are huge and all are in very good condition! Very good accessable by a tractor way. Although the condition is perfect, nobody seems to care or be interested or really knows about this beautiful site. No sign, but a hint in the village chronics, although only 5 barrows are mentioned there. Some farmhouses nearby and a tree nursery around and over the most eastern barrows. They are all quite in a row and are very tight to one another. Some of the most northern and large ones on a field seem to be exempted from trees and bushes only recently. Nice surrounding and walking area with Vielmoor very close where the best wild blackberries grow! |
