Contact them for permission to reproduce it. |  | | Description | Hillfort Willenscharen is from bout 900 and directly by small river Stoer. Nowadays directly at mainroad, so easy accessable. One of quite a few strategically placed Saxonian hillforts in the area. Still in good condition, even though a very small part is destroyed. Hillfort is about 9 meters high and has a diameter of 40 meters. There are explanation signs with good infos and a tiny parking lot and stairs up the hill. It is quite surprising that there are houses and gardens going right into it...
