The "C" marks the position of the largely destroyed chamber close to the western end of the barrow. As both narrow sides are not preserved, the original length cannot be exactly determined, but probably it measured 30m. The width varies from 6m to 6,5m. Some kerbstones are damaged by blasting attempts and/ or fallen. February 2010 |

(2010-02-17) | I have to say thank you Thingy for your comment and also for your great tip regarding the alternative use of film lighting stands.... This is the first one i did with such a stand. This was so much easier than with the previous hand-held equipment. Especially at these slightly arctic temperatures ;-) | Thingy
