None of these photo's could do justice to the spectacle I have witnessed here today. This stone circle could never be described as impressive, like most welsh circles, but catch it in the right mood and it gives a good account of itself. A bit out of the way, but only a 20 minute walk from the car over fairly gentle moorland. An early, or late start will see it at its best, on a good day.

(2010-02-05) | Magnificent photo Cerrig. It captures the essence of the landscape, and that's what it's all about. It's sometimes necessary to sneak up on mother nature while her back's turned, and slip away again before she realises someone's disturbing the peace. |
