Description History Gallery Mount Stuart on the Isle of Bute This is were I work as a Tour Guide, it is the home of the Stuarts of Bute. The present head of the Bute family, 7th Marquess of Bute other-wise known as Jonny Dumfries or Jonny Bute. The sandstone part of the house was built in the Gothic style in 1878 after a fire burnt down the first house in 1877 which was built in a more formal Georgian style. You can see the remains here which is the white rough cast south end of the building which dates back to 1716. There isnt much I cant tell you about this house so feel free to ask

hi again my fiance told me something about mount stuart hs well more like just the zodiac room she said when she was in that room it made her feel kinda relaxed and felt different to the rest of the house do you feel this also? again email me killabyte83@hotmail.com
