Description Mönkloh is a very idyllic village! Next to a very enchanting forest with gorgeous trails. A broad forest road goes through the forest down to Bokel, also a lovely village already in the next county. Mönkloh has two ancient sites quite apart from each other: a group of 4 large, but flat barrows is directly by the forest road to Bokel. Second site is of 3 larger and higher barrows directly by the road to Weddelbrook and Bad Bramstedt. Two of them are in very good condition, one is quite sqeezed. Very nice walking area! Slightly different coordinates 53.888255, 9.796028.
